mmm scratch I understand that any sort of push through bug, even with a charge before, is not allowed...is that what you mean? unless the unit is almost dead, of course.

but after charging or even in melee its normal to pull out. im getting confused now... not pulling out would mean the cav would have to keep in melee till either the opponent unit or the cav(most likely) is dead.

So is pulling out not allowed too?

we talked about it in our motherlanguage and that cleared the issue for me. for clarification:

- Push through of any sort (including classic push through after initial charge) is not tolerated, except you walk through a unit that has only 2 or3 men in it left.
- consequence: after charge you can only pull out your cav or let it stay in melee

Ok think you need to point out in the rules, that foot archers and x bows is not the same. Or are they ??
Also its a bit confusing to know when the attacker actually starts the attack Smile ?

foot archers and foot crossbows both count as foot archers for the "min 3 foot archers" rule. javelin throwers doesnt count as foot archers.
mounted archers and mounted crossbows count as horse archers for the "max 3 horse archers" rule. mounted javelin throwers doesnt count as horse archers.

the attacker has to start the battle either through initiating a missile war or through walking into meele. he has to do it right after the games starts - but he has the time to arrange his units as he want them to be arranged before. the defender can camp and wait fir the attack. if u have the feeling, that an attacker didnt attack, neither through missile war nor through starting meele, just make a relpay and send it to LND, he will decide about it then.

I told Kinshejsi he had to have 3 foot archers when we played the tourney. I thought it was because of the all xbows - cav army thing, but that goes under the 18 units rule then?
